1. Can you use it on a doe?
-Absolutely! All the more reason you need this product. Since a doe has no antlers it can be even more difficult to drag with a rope, a problem you may have had in the past. The adjustable drag keeps the doe's nose from dragging in the dirt. See picture of doe being dragged out.
2. What makes your product different than other drags?
-First and foremost this drag is EXTREMELY user friendly! It makes pulling your kill out of the woods so much easier by not letting the nose and/or antlers drag on the ground, get hung up on logs, brush, etc. The process of hooking the drag into your harness, pulling it out, going directly to your hanger and pulling it up all while using the same harness is a breeze.
3. What is the product made of?
-High quality 1 1/2 inch nylon webbing fourteen hundred pound breaking strength, thick nylon thread, steel eye bolt and sturdy clip. This product is manufactured under strict quality control. Guaranteed not to rust, bust, collect dust, rip, or ravel! HA!
4. Can I order it in another color?
-Stay safe fellow hunters! So no, we want all hunters to be safe in the field using their orange drag.
5. What is the best way to pull the deer once the deer drag is securely on?
-I like to use a shoulder harness with a carabiner attached to the back with a short rope connected to the steel eye of the drag. This allows you to be hands free and able to carry a gun or day pack.
6. How do I put it on?
- Slide harness over animal's nose and pull up as tight as possible
-Ensure strap is between antlers and ears on each side
-Buckle the strap and tighten as needed
7. How long should the rope be?
If you're using the shoulder harness as shown in the video you'll need approximately 30 inches. If you're tying around your waist you'll need approximately 6 feet.
